What I did on my holidaysBicycle Beano, Tyddewi, Awst/August 2001 |
2001 saw a slight change in pattern for the hols. Instead of heading off to Ireland, I had a week of guided cycling around Pembrokeshire, in the efficient care of Janey and Rob of Bicycle Beanos.
We were based for the week in 'Pen Rhiw', a very comfortable residential centre just outside St Davids, and then went out on daily excursions: some shorter, some longer, all very enjoyable (when the weather was OK!). I had planned to write a bit of explanation and commentary to go with the piccies, but the captions will just have to do!
Most of the photos here were taken at a resolution of 1792 x 1200, with some at 896 x 600. The images below are reduced from the original: click on the little picture to see a version at 896 x 600, or on the 'full size' link to get the mega-version (careful - they are 200-400K each). All of them have been compressed a bit, hopefully without any obvious loss of quality. If you want to save a copy and print it off, feel free - and you'll probably be best to go for the mega-version if there is one.
Thanks a lot to everyone, especially Janey and Rob, for making it such a super week.
